Discussion Archives

Once you have subscribed to a discussion group, you can review previous posts that have been made to that group within the system archives.

If you would like to access these discussion archives, here’s what you do:

1. Go to the Discussion Group manager server home page by clicking here (or alternatively by entering http://www.galists.org/read/login into your Internet browser and clicking Go).



2. You will be prompted to enter your email address.  Type in the email address that you used when subscribing to the system (this is the same email address at which you receive messages periodically posted to the discussion by others).  After you have entered your email address, click OK.



3. You will be prompted for your password.  Type in your password and click OK.



4. The My Forums screen will appear with the list of Forum Names (i.e., discussion lists) to which you are subscribed.



5. Click on the list name within the Forum Name column to view the messages posted to that list.  The last 20 posts will appear on the screen.



6. To view additional messages, click on the Show More button at the bottom of the interface screen.



7. In order to read a particular post, click on the title in the Subject column.
