Shiela Clark

KS&A Secretary-Treasurer

Shiela’s son, Jim, was diagnosed at 13 as 47,XXY. 

She has been associated with KS&A since 1993, and has since continuously held the position of Secretary, Treasurer or Secretary / Treasurer.  Shiela is a math tutor for grades 6 through college, and school librarian at Gidley Elementary School in El Monte, CA, a position she has held since 1992. 

She has sat on three Parent Teacher Association (PTA) boards, one as President, at two grammar schools and an area high school.  Additionally, since 1995, she has served on the El Monte Council PTA, a group comprised of local PTA units, where she previously served as Recording Secretary and is presently Treasurer.

Shiela earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA.  She was subsequently employed by Synsys and Capital Desk Company, where she was an administrative assistant, responsible for accounts payable, insurance and California Air Quality Control Board (AQCB) reporting.  Since 1988, she has handled all administrative responsibilities, including legal, banking and accounting, for a family-owned automotive repair business.

Shiela is married and has two children.
