Scientific Advisory CommitteeKS&A’s Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) is currently made up of seven professional members, including the following individuals:
Dr. Swerdloff initially recruited these professionals from various disciplines at the request of KS&A’s Board of Directors. The Committee works to further research and bring continuity and broader understanding when discussing the issues relating to X and/or Y chromosome aneuploidy. In addition to serving as an advisor to the Board of Directors and executive officers, members of the committee have been active in pursuing their own research and clinical activities addressing one or more of the conditions KS&A serves and related subjects, as well as presenting papers at major KS&A events and helping staff one-on-one clinics, one of the most popular elements of KS&A national conferences. At various SAC meetings, ad hoc members have been invited to attend, thereby allowing the committee to broaden its scientific expertise and focus on issues that are most pertinent to the needs of the organization and the population KS&A serves.
